Background is a beautiful, well designed and easy to use Unsplash client, in which you can browse and save high quality photos. Saved images can be used among other things as a wallpaper as they are under Creative Common Zero License which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes, without asking permission from or providing attribution to the photographer or Unsplash.
Save a picture by touching and holding it.
Background is free, but with an in-app purchase you can buy Background Premium, which turns off the unobtrusive ads and unlocks the search.
There are 5 basic screens (the order of which can be changed and screens can be hidden):
– search (requires Background Premium),
– newest photos,
– curated photos,
– favourite photos (requires Background Premium),
– settings.
See more photos by scrolling down or up. You can change the screen by swiping left or right.

Some reviews:

"Extraordinary
This just might be the best wallpaper app out there, and not just because of the excellent selection of high resolution photos, but also because of the app itself. It’s beautiful, intuitive, fast, and just a joy to use.” by gtg465x – Nov 19, 2017

"Awesome
I love this app! The photos are so tasteful and stunning. And theres tons of them! I tried the search (they let you try for free) and it brought up lots of good stuff." by CalifDude – Dec 2, 2017

"Aesthetically pleasing design
You well never realize how UI is the heart and soul of any application until you actually find one that’s beautiful as this. Easy, friendly and lastly it sticks with the iPhone design guideline." by LittleOrange97 – Nov 7, 2017

"Small Details
It’s all about the small details with this intuitive photo app. From the sleek navigation powered by intelligent swiping gestures to the way motion translates over to how you view each photo (Love how a swipe up perfectly positions the next photo in the collection to fit the screen). This is the best way to view photos from Unsplash." by SileNceR` – Nov 4, 2017
